Hey guys I have a great idea! Let's impeach Trump and really get our hands dirty! Throw him out of office and let Mike Pence step up just in time for 2020 to "clean up the mess" and prove that he's not Trump. Or we can take the House, stop Trump, and defeat Trump. Your call.
Again, what the hell are you talking about? Removing Trump from office is not what we're talking about when we say impeachment, we're talking about the House...impeaching Trump. The Senate's acquittal is baked in.
I don't think impeachment is a good idea because Trump's acquittal will make the party look weak, but that has nothing to do with Mike Pence, who is irrelevant to this conversation because Trump's conviction by the Senate is impossible.
