In America today we face challenges unlike those we have ever seen in the 231 years since the ratification of the Constitution. Rapists on the Supreme Court like Thomas and Kavanaugh, immigrant children being thrown in cages, and Donald Trump's hardline nationalist presidency. You know, one time I actually tried to talk with one of Donald Trump's "supporters" and let me tell you, these aren't just supporters, these are worshipers of a cult. A cult that threatens to destroy America and everything we stand for, threatens to destroy the lives of millions of people and threatens to destroy our prestige on the international stage.

Every single time a moderate tries to act bipartisan by enabling the Trump cult is another time that the Trump cult wins. That's why America needs real leadership, a leadership that will not back down from a struggle, a leadership you can trust will fight for you every step of the way. I am that leadership. This was a tough decision to make but after a lot of thought, consideration, and encouragement from my peers I have decided that I will run for President of the United States in 2020! However this time its different. This time I have decided to run as an independent rather than a Libertarian. After having gone through politics for so long being an advocate for various policies, there is one thing that I have realized and that's the fact that our national politics have become so divisive. People want to see a candidate who will focus on policy in a campaign instead of character attacks and over exaggerated rhetoric from both sides. If there is one thing that Americans want in a candidate now more than ever it's a candidate who is honest and upfront about their values despite differences of opinion and that's exactly the type of President I want to be! A President who will run on a movement. The People's movement! I want this to be a diverse and special campaign. A campaign of folks who feel that Washington is not working for them. A campaign of folks who believe that the federal government is simply too large. A campaign of folks who wish for more liberty across our states! A campaign of folks who wish to see our federal government obey the constitution as it was meant to be interpreted! A campaign of folks who are fed up with both parties and wish for an alternative!"
