Bevin will easily win re-election. Kentucky is now unwinnable for any Democrat, barring pedophilia.

Actually, if Kennedy ends up running, Dems' best chance at winning a gubernatorial election in 2019 could very well be Mississippi, funnily enough.

Edwards would narrowly win against Kennedy if I had to guess, and would crush any other Republican.

You have some mental problems if you think Democrats can't win in Kentucky, they will vote McConnell out in 2020 and might vote Dem in 2019.

LOL why would Kennedy give up his senate seat to run for an office he's not as likely to win when he can stay in the more republican leaning office of US Senator?

KY yes. Hell, Bevin already despite a dumpster-fire campaign and a pledge to ax a popular policy, won once in a blowout. That was before Trump.

LA,...mostly. But Edwards is too Manchin-esque to be completely out. But Kennedy would definitely do the trick.

Jim Hood is a force of nature. Maybe polarization is too strong and it won't end up mattering, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now. Though I still think Republicans take it in the end.
