Barack Obama was open about his admiration for Reagan. I think that was a lot more sincere than any compliments that the Clintons ever paid him. They at least had the virtue of understanding who the Enemy is.
It seems like the Dem tactic lately is to paint Ronnie and Dubya as progressive heroes. That's a dangerous road to go down.

Ewww they shouldn't be trying to rewrite history like that.

Ronald Reagan and George W Bush were incredible conservative heroes. They represented the best of the Republican Party. The Party that will come back when Nikki takes over in 2024.

Yes, Reagan established the GOP dominance and Dems will establish the Obama coalition well into the 2020's.

No, today's Democrats are even further to the left than they had been during the Reagan administration. They're certainly further to the left that Reagan himself. How many of today's Dems think that Antonin Scalia was a great choice for the Supreme Court, or that William Rehnquist was a great Chief Justice?

Dems were more closer to Neo Reaganites in the 1990s than they are today

This proves that the parties switched platforms in 2016 and now the Republicans are the liberal party and the Democrats are the conservative party. Smiley

No.

Even Joe Manchin is well to the left of Reagan on most issues, and he's the most conservative Democrat in Congress.
