Carl Demaio reports raising $450k in 72 hours from 500 dollars with 20 more fundraising events scheduled by the end of September and “3000 active donor pledges coming in soon”. Cash on hand is over $700k.

He will primary Hunter and make the seat Likely R.

It would be Safe R with DeMaio.
It's California so I'm not going to be too bullish here.

He is gonna run in Arizona not Massachusetts if he does run.
AZ-02 is not flipping in 2020. MAYBE in 2022 if a Democrat is president and it's a strong R wave.

Err...NY-19 is Lean D.

It's a Trump +7 district and every pundit aside from Inside Elections rates it as a tossup. It's not a Lean D district and could easily be picked back up with the right candidate. The Likely R was in reference to IN-05.

It's only competitive based on how he's doing in WI as a whole. He will only have a shot at this district if he wins by a larger margin than he did in 2016.

UT-02 is titanium red regardless of Trump's approval numbers there. DCCC is insane to consider that potentially competitive.

There is indication that MT-Sen is becoming more competitive and can be Dems 3rd pickup opportunity if Dems fail to topple Collins or Ernst; whom have been pragmatic.
Indication from where? If Bullock doesn't run it's strong Likely R.

Jason Lewis is running against Tina Smith. I get this peculiar feeling he isn't the candidate that can win Twin Cities suburb voter the GOP still needs to win here, despite their rural gains.
Lol still likely D.

It seems that there are rumors swirling that Steve Watkins will resign due to a sex scandal.
These allegations have been around since 2018:

What changed?

I am hearing that this is a new one - something to do with an intern in his office.

I haven't found any news source other than randoms mumbling about it on Twitter. Mind linking something?

Utah District 14 Senator Dan Hemmert is running for UT-04. He supports Trump's tax cuts but doesn't like Trump's tariff policy or his Twitter behavior. He also has Mia Love's support if she chooses not to run:

Dave Perdue gets a primary challenger, James Jackson.

Ben Sasse gets a primary challenger, Matt Innis. Innis had stated earlier this month his intention to run because Sasse did not support the president enough.

Ann Kirkpatrick also gets a primary challenger in AZ-02, Nevin Kohler.

Sabato's Crystal Ball has made two rating changes in the wake of the North Carolina special elections:

NC-03: Likely R -> Safe R

NC-09: Toss-up -> Likely R

http://crystalball.centerforpolitics.org/crystalball/articles/bidens-challenge-iowa-and-new-hampshire/
I don't get why they moved NC-03 in the first place. NC-09 seems about right.

Republicans are seriously going to attempt to take back seats like CA-25, CA-45 and CA-49.

Mariannette Miller-Meeks is running for IA-02, having faced losses there previously in 2008, 2010, and 2014. She is a fairly-new member of the Iowa Senate from D-41.
