Though in their defense, these countries are overrun by AIDS and somehow there is this stereotype of it being a disease for gay people. I guess its because a few don't use prophylactics because there's no egg involved but being gay in itself doesn't make you have AIDS.

That is not a defense.  That is an explanation masquerading as a terrible excuse to do inhumane things to people.  I’d say withhold any aid to them and airdrop sex education materials and condoms all over that country.

That is not a defense.  That is an explanation masquerading as a terrible excuse to do inhumane things to people.  I’d say withhold any aid to them and airdrop sex education materials and condoms all over that country. 

I'm not saying its right and I was trying to invoke Poe's Law here (don't confuse idiot behavior with asshole behavior) but perhaps this is too far for that. By quite a bit actually. It is just that when we go into these situations with guns blazing even though we are clearly in the right, it could backfire. Just look at race relations in our country now. I say this out of a little bit of devil's advocate and a little bit out of concern of legitimizing unacceptable ideas.
