I've excluded states where a win by plurality is either impossible (California, Washington, Florida, Wisconsin) or highly unlikely (e.g. North Dakota).
Regarding the Mississippi special election I'm referring to the first round.

Here is the corresponding poll for the gubernatorial elections.

Does anybody think that the Mississippi special election will proceed to a runoff?

It was a big surprise, which proves that Nevada has become a solidly blue state.

There's a simple reason for that: There were only two candidates (unlike in the gubernatorial race).
