A "The Kansas Department of Financial Services urges all insurance companies and banks doing business in Kansas to join the companies that have already discontinued their arrangements with Planned Parenthood." kind of thing.

Businesses are free to do business (or not do business) with any organized group (this does not extend to refusing business for individuals of any group) that they want to but by no means should the government actually encourage/require such.

Interestingly some of the people who oppose this are perfectly fine doing the same thing to the NRA in New York.

To "urge" someone A to discontinue doing something for someone B is to "assault" B?

lol "financially assault"

Is regulation financial assault? Is breaking up a monopoly financial assault? Is choosing to not bail out a company financial assault? Is withholding previously given government funds financial assault? Is the IRS targeting conservative groups for closer inspection financial assault?
