Can't remember 1992 (was one, LOL), but I don't remember 2008 being that exciting unless you were a Democrat.  It was EVENTUALLY cool to see Obama become the first Black President and take in the historic moment and all that, but it's not like Election Night was a mystery going in.  I was young, but I remember 2000 really being something else.

I wasn't alive in 1992. My 5-year-old self enjoyed following 2000. 2008 I remember being exciting. From what I've read, 2000 wasn't seen as exciting before election night, but then became exciting as a result of the Florida debacle.
