He would have had 6 years of being in the Senate and he's a young veteran.

Hawley is not a veteran.

I see him most likely running for re-election, he's young enough to be a candidate (or at least a big GOP name) in the 2030's/40's.

I see him potentially being a candidate one day. 2024 may be too soon.

Only if Eric Greitens doesn't run, and he will run.

Although Hawley is strong on paper and is telegenic.... he will never be on a Presidential Ticket.   He completely lacks even an once of the charisma needed.  If anyone happened to see him speak at the Trump rallies- you would understand just how awkward he is in front of a crowd (at least a campaign type crowd).  Being smart and good looking is enough to win a Senate race- but you have to have some modicum of the X-Factor (charisma/ relatable/ etc) in front of crowds at campaign rallies to be a presidential nominee.

He’s not that good-looking, either. He’s average. He also has serious gayface, not especially surprising for a young Republican.

exactly, when I saw a picture of him, I'm like - is this dude a mormon (mormons as you know have serious gayface). Hawley strikes me as a mix between Ben Sasse and Ted Cruz.

No, Eric Grietens does not want to leave politics

Maybe, but if Hawley really wanted to be president, I don't know why he would let Greitens running stop him. Clearly the Republican Party cares little, if at all, about sexual misconduct (and calling it "misconduct" is being very generous to Greitens), but he wasn't even governor for half a term and was probably going to be impeached by the Republican-majority legislature. By 2024, Greitens will not have held office for 5 years; Hawley will be much more relevant on the national scene and have superior experience, without half of Greiten's baggae.

I only say this because one of them will run for President and the other will go for Hawley's seat.

I want to know where you live that Josh Hawley is average looking. Because I want to move there, lol.

I see him running and doing about as well as Mike Huckabee did in 2016.

Leave it to nerds on US Election Atlas Dot Org to judge the attractiveness and "candidate quality" of politicians.

Yes, because he's a ladder climber to the core.
