White working-class or lower-middle class ancestral Democrat somewhere in the mid-South or Appalachia.

Alternatively, a lower-middle class white "ethnic" voter in Long Island or New Jersey who voted for Bush in 2004 because this voter was personally impacted by 9/11 and thought Bush was stronger on national security and counter-terrorism in 2004 and was even more attracted to noted military man and iconic war hero John McCain in 2008 - and frankly, didn't really like the idea of a black President.
