Someone's triggered...

Well, one more confirmation, that hatred reigns in US parties's approach to each other. Though Democrats would, most likely, react in the same way if (say) Jim Jordan would be elected Republican caucus leader in House.

So I did some research on this Jeffries character, and the guy really is an a**hole.  He opposed Medicare for All, in addition to all the other horrible, "moderate" positions he holds.  And he's pretty much fully funded by big money.
The position he won is stupid, so I don't really care that he won, but please stop calling this clown a progressive.  He's anything but.

It's politicians like this guy that make people lose interest in politics.
But zaybay told me he was  a "progressive"

I mean, a good amount of that isnt true. Jeffries is a supporter of Medicare for All, as his voting record shows. He has very few moderate positions, his famous one being on charter schools, and his voting records puts him right in the middle of the CPC. I cant defend him taking from law firms and real estate companies though.

Hes a moderate Progressive, still Progressive, but not on the full Left.

Who said, that Democratic party is far left and nothing more? Or - that it must be far left and nothing more. Until demographic changes will transform country in majority-minority (about 2045, IIRC) - i don't see that as a winning strategy. And - not sure it will be a winning strategy even then.

I'm not surprised. Crying sexism whenever a female ally is criticized is a key part of the Moulton playbook. Exploiting misogyny isn't beneath them. Just look at how his project candidate wound up saying the opposition to her carpetbagging was because she was a woman.

You know, just like how the sexist voters of New Hampshire elected Jim Shaheen over Sandra Brown because they couldn't tolerate a strong woman challenger with Senatorial experience.

The Democratic party is all about hiding your ideas behind some woman or minority so that you can cry sexism or racism if someone criticizes them.

Careful jfern, you're starting to sound like a...

Jfern supported a candidate who said that black voters don't matter.

They obviously matter. But each time i read this statement i have a strongest desire to ask: what about white voters? Do THEY matter?Huh
