Both are running in Florida in very tight races: Andrew Gillum for Governor against Ron DeSantis, and Bill Nelson for Senate against Rick Scott.
Who will receive a higher percentage in their respective race?

Probably Gillum. He has been able to consolidate the Hispanic/Cuban vote, while the senate race has them split between the two candidates.

Still Gillum, I think (narrowly, perhaps). I doubt Nelson will do as well in the Panhandle as many people expect him to.

Very hard to say due to all the contradictory polling, but I think Gillum gets a little more.

If Gillum should really get more votes than Nelson, wouldn't that basically mean that he's gonna win by a majority of votes?

Nelson turned out to be the winner.

Florida was the state I was most wrong about. I thought Gillum would win 51-46% and Nelson 50-48%. Once again, the state disappointed me. As it did in 2014 and 2000.
