Some part of me wishes that someone like Gephardt would get the nomination so that this country can have a real contest of ideas in the general election.  I'd like to see a 1960 style race--a gentlemen's contest between two worthy candidates.

Unfortunately it looks like the democrats are going to nominate the shrill Vermont putz Howard Dean.  Prepare yourself for some very obnoxious debates in the fall.
