Tough call between Heller, Flake, and Heitkamp. All of them played at being moderates but weren’t - so I guess they’re all kind of equally mediocre.

Heitkamp wasn’t a moderate to you?

Heitkamp actually was pretty moderate. Look at https://voteview.com/parties/all

Donnelly, I guess, although this is not exactly an A-list of Senators tbh.  I know I'll miss Flake the least Tongue

In what universe were any of them moderates. Heitkamp votes against the tax bill, healthcare repeal, and (effectively) against both SCOTUS nominees. She never made any attempt to advance bipartisan legislation of any kind and made no attempt to engage Rs on spending bills. She is no more of a real moderate than Heller was and Collins is. Ultimately they’re all fake moderates with the possible exception of Manchin and Murkowski.

So to be moderate, you need to support far right wing legislation on taxes, healthcare, and two far right wing justices?

If that's your definition of moderate, then of course she's not a moderate. But the term would be meaningless. Being a moderate doesn't have to mean you support far right wing proposals.

Orrin Hatch. His presidential campaign in 2000 was the only one that ever has gotten me excited about supporting someone who was running for President.

Cannot say that it is a particularly inspiring crowd. I'll go with Corker for his ability to be an anti-Trump Republican without making a fool of himself the way Flake does, but really I don't think I'm going to miss any of these people.

You’re only supposed to name one Senator.

Heitkamp. From 1960 - 2018, there was always at least one Democratic Senator from ND. Looks like that trend has finally been broken.

Also isn't the Florida Senate race still too close to call right now?
