What do you think a presidential electoral map will look like fifty years from now, if the current trends were to continue indefinitely? That of course, is implausible, but I'm still curious.

What are the political futures of the following PA Dems in your view:

Josh Shapiro
John Fetterman
Connor Lamb

Josh Shapiro - Runs against Toomey in 2022. Whether or not he wins depends on whether or not Trump wins re-election.

John Fetterman - Runs for governor in 2022. Could win regardless if Trump wins re-election or not, but obviously would be much easier for him to win if Trump was re-elected.

Conor Lamb - I really hope he holds statewide office one day, and he'll almost certainly run for one at some point, but I have a bad feeling he'll lose the primary to a Dem from the Philly area.

What are your thoughts on the plight of RINOs in the wild?

They need to join the captivity of the Democratic Party to avoid the poachers in the GOP.

Otherwise, the future looks very grim:

I have a rule that I don't predict elections more than 10 years in advance, simply because doing so inevitably makes the person doing it look like an idiot later down the line. Tongue

Is this the Roy Moore/David Duke (R) vs. Inoffensive Southern White Male/Inoffensive Southern White Male (D) election in Atlas colors? It looks a bit off though, since Oklahoma would definitely support Moore/Duke.

Do you think that a resurrected Adolf Hitler could win WV-03 if he had an (R) next to his name?

In your eyes, is the Republican Party redeemable? (Possible vs likely, etc)

Do you think conservatives have an authoritarian side that they pretend doesn't exist?

I guess the same way I would've reacted if Marsha Blackburn, Kevin Cramer, Kevin Stitt, Bryan Steil, Steve King, Jacky Rosen, or Donna Shalala lost. In other words, the world will never know. Tongue

Can I pick "Republicans" who are actually Democrats like Charlie Baker, RINO Tom, Mizzouian, etc.?

If I have to pick an actual Republican, Lisa Murkowski.

Yes, and it wouldn't be close. He'd probably do better than Carol Miller since resurrected Adolf Hitler wouldn't have a vagina.

Extremely doubtful, at least for the forseeable future.

Most of them definitely do. Pretending it doesn't exist? If they are indeed pretending that, they're doing a very poor job at it. Look at their current cult leader/God Emperor, along with the clear disdain for democracy they have in states like North Carolina, Wisconsin, and I'm sure many others to come.

What do you think would happen if American legislatures had this power?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Section_33_of_the_Canadian_Charter_of_Rights_and_Freedoms

"The Parliament of Canada, a provincial legislature or a territorial legislature may declare that one of its laws or part of a law applies temporarily ("notwithstanding") countermanding sections of the Charter, thereby nullifying any judicial review by overriding the Charter protections for a period of five years at most. This is done by including a section in the law clearly specifying which rights have been overridden. A simple majority vote in any of Canada's 14 jurisdictions may suspend the core rights of the Charter. However, the rights to be overridden must be either a "fundamental right" guaranteed by Section 2 (such as freedom of expression, religion, and association), a "legal right" guaranteed by Sections 7–14 (such as rights to liberty and freedom from search and seizures and cruel and unusual punishment) or a Section 15 "equality right".[1] Other rights such as section 6 mobility rights, democratic rights, and language rights are inviolable."

A mostly complete list of all the rights which can be nulified
- Freedom of Expression
- Freedom of Religion
- Freedom to hold any thought
- Freedom of assembly
- Freedom of association
- Right to life
- Right to Liberty
- Right to Security of the person
- Right to be secure against unreasonable search or seizure
- Right not to be arbitrarily detained or imprisoned
- Right to, upon arrest : be informed promptly of the reasons for the arrest, right to consult a lawyer, right to be released if the detention is not lawful
- Right to be informed of the offence
- Right to be tried within a reasonable time
- Right not to be compelled to be a witness
- Right to be presumed innocent
- Right not to be denied reasonable bail
- Right to trial by jury
- Right not to be found guilty unless action constituted an offence
- Right not to be tried again
- Right to lesser punishment
- Right not to be subjected to any cruel and unusual treatment or punishment
- A witness who testifies in any proceedings has the right not to have any incriminating evidence so given used to incriminate that witness in any other proceedings, except in a prosecution for perjury or for the giving of contradictory evidence.
- A party or witness in any proceedings who does not understand or speak the language in which the proceedings are conducted or who is deaf has the right to the assistance of an interpreter.

I shudder at the thought of what the NCGOP might do with that power.

I agree with BRTD more ideologically, but assuming he's anything like his forum persona as president, he'd probably be a much worse president than RINO Tom. And since RINO Tom is basically a moderate Democrat on everything besides tax cuts, he'd be an acceptable choice if BRTD didn't seem fit to hold the office. Ask me after the debates. Democrat vs. Democrat elections are the best.

Not much. Most rural voters are quickly transitioning into (or already were) extremely partisan Republicans that would never even consider voting for a member of the anti-white hate group under any circumstances. You can slow the bleeding somewhat by running #populists Purple heart who fit their districts/states well (like Richard Ojeda and Billie Sutton) but ultimately I doubt the bleeding will ever stop, much less get reversed. Even if there's a recession most Racist Hicks would probably just blame Nancy Pelosi or Hillary Clinton anyway.
