Kinda strange that Poroshenko announced martial law only now. Like, every month dozens of people die in Donbass (for years!) and no casualities in this incident so far. Also i think Russia will return those ukrainians from ships back pretty fast.

Basicallt, what happened: under previous agreements, Ukraine should have free passage through Kerch strait, but Russia feared possible attack on new Kerch Bridge and so demand from ukrainian ships russian inspection. They didn't agree
