Actually, it's sort of goes this way on the hurricane bounce.

Barbour has maintained his bounce.  This shows that it may be more long-lasting than others.

Blanco has maintained her negative bounce, and it continues to bounce downward.  I have a feeling this one will be long-lasting as well.

Meanwhile, Riley is still above where he was prior to hurricane, but has dropped down considerably since last month.  Same with Perry, though not quite as much (though it leaves him in negative territory).

Of the non-hurricane state governors that experienced bounces that we noticed, both Sonny Perdue and Mike Easley have maintained their bounces decently, actually.  We'll see if this continues next time SUSA does a poll.
