Oops, maybe the red avatars should stop looking to BuzzFeed as a reliable source

But the statement doesn't say the report is false.
It pretty much does lol, don't worry you'll get the big bad orange man someday

Explain.

In Panda's world, there is no possibility that Trump may have done anything wrong.

All the skepticism over the Buzzfeed article seems a bit overly cautious. Don't get me wrong, journalists should be certain that their stories are as accurate as possible, so I get it, at the same time. But is it really beyond the realm of reason that Trump wouldn't have asked Cohen to lie on his behalf? No. He doesn't believe in negative consequences for anything he does, and doesn't give half a f*** about throwing his subordinates under the bus. I am pretty convinced that the article is accurate and this action in addition to a litany of other offenses should result in his impeachment and conviction. It won't though, because two-thirds of the Senate will not vote to convict him even if he gets impeached in the House. Trump supporters should feel comforted that this "coup," while deserved, is never going to happen.

Anyways, the original report says the SC's office declined to make a comment. We rarely ever hear from Mueller's team and this statement seems very carefully worded. So in no way is Buzzfeed's story fake news.

The special counsel rarely makes statement's like this, the fact that they have refuted BuzzFeed's story so quickly (not to mention that their are no known sources or corroboration for anything in the article) likely means that the article is quickly put together bs. One of the authors (Leopold) also has a history of making up anonymous sources

Guys; Guys! All we know is that they said "not accurate", that means that the entire story may not be BS! Just most of it!

1. They didn't "quickly" refute, the story has been out for 22 hours.
2. You're disregarding the wording: "Not accurate" doesn't mean "not true"
3. No he doesn't.

This thread should probably be merged into the Indictment-O-Rama megathread.  I've PMed a mod requesting it.

So... if Mueller is refuting this one line from this story, what might we infer about all the stories Mueller has not refuted?

I'm trying to figure out what would be the motive for the special council to make that announcement?   Is it so that Congress (I.e the House) won't subpoena documents from Mueller too early?

There were a lot of Congressional Dems posting on twitter about this story.

Which makes me think House Dems had other sources than Buzzfeed. I doubt most of them would rely solely on Buzzfeed to take action.

Reading the “thoughtful” and “mature” reposenes by Pandaguineapig, Del Tachi, and NYC millennial minority it really is a mystery why they like an immature, name calling, troll like Trump.
