Adam Schiff says House to make criminal referral on Blackwater founder Erik Prince
Quote
House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff says the panel will be moving to make a criminal referral for former Blackwater security firm founder Erik Prince to the Justice Department for allegedly misleading the committee and making false statements. Schiff, speaking at an event at the Washington Post on Tuesday, said there was "very strong evidence" that Prince "willingly" did so.

Prince, now the head of the Hong Kong-based company Frontier Services Group, has ties to President Trump's former chief strategist Steve Bannon and is the brother of Education Secretary Betsy DeVos.

After reading special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia report, Schiff said that "the evidence is so weighty that the Justice Department needs to consider this." Schiff said Prince's testimony on his dealings with the Trump campaign, particularly a meeting he took in the Seychelles with a Russian banker close to President Vladimir Putin just nine days before Mr. Trump's inauguration, has proven to be overwhelming false.

I’d think Jr was told by his counsel to take the fifth and therefore there was no reason for him to be compelled to testify. Idk what’s up with McGahn

Don Jr. almost certainly took the 5th.  In fact, I'd bet money on it given what we now know.  With McGahn, there's no reason to for Mueller to have him testify before a grand jury since he wasn't seeking to indict Trump for obstruction of justice.

This is pretty big, but I imagine this will go to the Supreme Court.

She also called the Republicans legal arguments a "farce" and then proceeded to pulverize them in detail, and said the Executive Branch "willfully obstructs" a lawful and constitutional impeachment investigation, while setting up McGahn and Trump Jr. to be  called to testify before the House.

This is also from the Buzzfeed FOIA requests. If Wikileaks is a front for Russian intelligence (and there is evidence that is exactly what it was acting as by 2016) then the entire GOP really is being influenced, if not puppeted, by Putin's regime.

Mueller interview notes obtained by CNN show Trump's push for stolen emails
Quote
"[Rick] Gates recalled a time on the campaign aircraft when candidate Trump said, 'get the emails.' [Michael] Flynn said he could use his intelligence sources to obtain the emails," investigators wrote in a summary of Gates' April 2018 interview with Mueller's team. Flynn was a foreign policy adviser on the campaign and became Trump's first national security adviser.

"Flynn had the most Russia contacts of anyone on the campaign and was in the best position to ask for the emails if they were out there," the investigators also wrote about Gates' interview.

I wonder why some of these things weren't in the report (unless they're in the redacted parts).

If I give Mueller the benefit of the doubt, I think he saw Donald Trump as a criminal who needed to be taken down and tried to give Congress the ammunition to do so with as little damage to the credibility of our government and political system as possible. So he didn't throw the book at Donald. Instead, he handed Congress a narrow, but absolutely airtight and irreproachable blueprint for impeachment on grounds of obstruction and expected them to use it to clear things up and get on with governing.

Of course, even that view is accurate, what actually happened is that Mueller grossly misread the GOP, who took his painstakingly crafted scalpel, threw it in the trash, and proceeded to scream "Wtf are you talking about? We want more political cancer please!"
