There's a good chance this happens. The politically appointed Attorney General is still processing the previous recommendations afaik, and a (watered-down) indictment is likely to be issued. This one seems even worse, with ample evidence amd high profile witnesses.

It's likely to take months, though.

You have it the wrong way round. Israel is the country that puts leaders in jail, unlike the US which never does that.

We have a general discussion thread. Mods please move it there.

The different as opposed to the other cases is that now we're dealing with bribery and not misconduct. I've gone through what was published in the media and it looks a pretty strong case to me as they showed considerations which even strengthened their case.

The Attorney General already said that in case he is indicted the Supreme Court will have to decide if he can remain PM (which is actually quite a difficult question legally and politically). chickensh**t
