Yeah, all the indicators are pointing to a recession or much lower growth next year - starting in the US and Germany and then spreading.

Not even about anything in particular either. He's talking about everything. Have we ever had a president so transparent about their shallow schemes?

No doubt that such a strategy will resonate with his core base though, who will note the timing of a recession and Democrats taking back the House, which will instantly click with them. Although, to be fair, they only need Trump's word to believe it. Everything else is just gravy.
