Santa (or as we call him, Nikolaus or Nikolo) comes on Dec. 6 - together with Krampus.

Though that actually takes place in the 6th of January, if you get presents in the 24th of December (which nowadays is common because American influence, but traditionally you'd only get very small gifts or none at all) it's Santa.

In America if you’re over the age of 5 or 6 you receive presents from your parents and relatives.  As you get older you begin to get involved in the exchanging of gifts.

Pretty sure in my family by the time we were old enough to know who Santa Claus was, we knew he didn’t exist.  We did, however, want to believe.
