We would never know, as no politician would want to be associated with most people here. But yes, I think there are people here more than capable of winning an election.

Real talk, I wouldn't be surprised if people who lurk on Atlas are high level Congressional staffers or even Chiefs of Staff, and those people often eventually become Congressmen.

Posters? Much less likely.

Law School and becoming an attorney, something atlas members do, gives you an advantage.

A poster? lol no.

Miles did get successful, though. But to be fair, he was one of the best posters here.

Someone like Doug Jones could have been. I get the sense from reading 538’s profile on him. A decent number of congressional staffers who are map nerds probably lurk on Atlas, so I’m sure that a few super nerd members of congress in the future will at least be aware of this place.

But I really hope not.

Lunar is super successful too. And Phil works for Toomey, so who knows. Maybe one day he'll run for something.

I think I could win if I wanted to run for office. I could put MA-09 in play if I lived there.

Does Phil count since he specifically quit Atlas once he started working for Toomey.

I will also note that it's not that crazy and alternative timeline where muon got elected to Randy Hultinger's seat sometime when it came open. Though it might have been difficult for him to win a primary.

Reaganfan will takeover Brown’s senate seat in 2030 thereby solidifying Ohio as the new Missouri for good.

Atlas will talk about how Reaganfan's posts will doom him, as unlike RINO Tom and Badger he is completely unrepresentative of the GOP. Then he'll win by double digits.

Badger is a Liberal while RINO Tom I would so is a Reagan type Republican

Regardless, the point stands. Reaganfan fits the modern day GOP like a glove.

No he doesn’t

Trump got the nomination for these reasons : Record Breaking Media Coverage , Massive amount of Name recognition, and a divided field .

The 2016 and 2012 GOP aren’t as different as people think
