I have no investment to the cookie-cutter, uninspired Marvel Universe

At least Episode IX I have morbid fascination for.

Avengers.
Apart from the original trilogy, the Star Wars series is a bunch of overrated kiddie movies.

I was thinking the same thing, but my brain could not enunciate it as well to my fingers.

I'm looking forward to both, but right now Avengers because it's coming out first.

Endgame b/c seeing the events unfold in Infinity War & how its characters were portrayed & how their actions led to one another was just stunning in how well it was all done, even though I also love Star Wars (& personally loved both Force Awakens & Last Jedi as well).

I'm far more of a Star Wars fan than I am a Marvel fan, so Episode IX it is.

I would just like to say that, right now but likely to change at some point, the poll results are perfectly balanced, as all things should be.

Endgame. I'd like to be pleasantly surprised by Episode IX, but I was disappointed with TLJ.

I was pretty unhappy with Episode 8, whereas I liked Infinity War, so I'm looking forward to the next Avengers more.

I loved Infinity War and was very disappointed with TLJ, so naturally I'm looking forward to End Game. I'm just not convinced IX is going to blow me away after the last movie. Even if they do everything right, it still doesn't change the fact that Rian Johnson effectively salted the earth for the next Star Wars movie.

I haven't even watched an Avengers movie after the first. So I guess Episode IX, just to see if it can be redeemed after TLJ, tall order but we'll see.

Yes, I've realized this is true for me. But I'm not looking forward to it and I think I already know where they're going with Episode IX (trying to replace the light/dark dichotomy that has been a SW trademark with "grey area" to make it seem deep).

Endgame, just like Hugh Jackman, Chris Hemsworth will be missed.

I have no desire to see either, but given that TLJ was easily the worst film in its franchise...I guess The Avengers: Endgame [pretty silly title b/c Disney’s not gonna kill this cashcow any time soon]

Nope. Still pretty much done with the MCU and simply waiting for the mainline Star Wars to end.

'Avengers Endgame' by far. I actually am eager to know where the story goes as opposed to 'Star Wars: Episode IX.' They f***ed up so bad with 'The Last Jedi.' I'll probably end up seeing it, but my excitement for 'Star Wars' is basically over.

It's a shame too because there's so much they could have done after playing it safe with 'The Force Awakens' and they ended up doing nothing. It especially sucks because I was always a huge 'Star Wars' fan and hoped that the franchise could have redeemed itself with the new trilogy. I will say though, the standalone films that they have been making like 'Rogue One' and 'Solo' are genuinely good and different, even as they may not be perfect and have their own fair share of flaws. Lucasfilm should just make those.

The Star Wars side-stories have been much better than the main timeline so far, so Avengers hands-down.
