This happened four hours ago, but apparently no one bothers opening threads anymore for terror attacks in France, and it is admittedly true that they have become terribly common.

Cherif C. shot two people dead and caused grave injuries to six others.

Thoughts, prayers and continued mass immigration it will be, I guess.

It's what the French voted for. Sure, it's easy to say "Oh but that's one in a million", but I doubt the families of the victims will say the same thing.

It's also funny when the BBC never mentions the words "Islamic terrorist attack" but says "shooting".  Other news outlets also say "The Paris prosecutor said the motive for the attack was not known.", because you never know, could be one of those Tibetan monks.

Either way, hope the injured make it, and may the deceased rest in peace.

Awww so sad, thoughts are with the victim's and their families Sad

Was there really a need to write the last sentence David?!

Could you point out what's wrong with his statement?

You do know, that if the waves of migrants were not accepted into Europe, some attacks would not have happened since the attackers arrived within the wave?

I get that you're caring, and that's a great virtue, but not when it costs lives.

So it needs to be a reconquista rather than a crusade.

This wouldn’t have happened if the French government had tackled the degradation of infrastructure of the banlieues. But no, it was cheaper to blame the third generation immigrants than invest in the Minority suburbs.
Even if they were there for a hundred more years; these racists will never accept the fact that there exists minorities in “their” land.

Sigh... First, has the motive even been confirmed yet, I heard the authorities were already looking for him by the time of the attack, but that's it. Second, PSOL is right, if islamic terrorism, this won't be a case of refugee intake gone wrong, but the larger problem of immigrants not being properly integrated with society.

Chérif Chekatt has been on France’s ‘S’ file terrorist watch list since 2015, and his profile matches that of self-styled ‘jihadists’ who have carried out other attacks in France.

He was wanted in connection with an attempted murder and an armed robbery, according to a source close to the investigation, when the police raided Mr Chekatt’s home and found grenades, a .22 firearm and two hunting knives, but failed to capture him.

While in prison in Germany he was known for violence and repeated attempts to convert fellow-inmates to a radical form of Islam.

"The suspected motive for the shootings on Tuesday night is terrorism. ‘Terrorism has again struck our soil,’ said Mr Heitz at a press conference on Wednesday, noting that witnesses heard the gunman shout ‘Allahu Akbar’ during the attack."

Another one has passed away. God bless the victims and their loved ones.

Hope they catch this thug soon and bring him to justice. Lock him up!

They have managed to do so, he has been shot down by police. Hopefully they manage to keep the rest of individuals on the same list (islamic terrorism) under better surveillance.

From my understanding, they actually do, as I believe former President Hollande’s state of emergency is still in effect from the Paris attacks. The issue is when to engage in a way to stop these potential threats red handed in a crime. Getting it wrong, and letting them be tipped off, would allow for them to escape or possibly conduct an attack more sneakily.

BREAKING: The shooter has been killed by the police.

Although I prefered a life-long jail sentence, rot in hell, disgusting HP.

There isn't mass immigration in France.
