Centrist women in the suburbs who like their taxes low and their unions nonexistent. Baldwin is good at hiding her real views so she's palatable to them.

Walker had a 49/50 approval. People were happy with the economy in Wisconsin which they attributed to Republicans, but were getting sick of Walker and his powergrabs. Also, some people wanted more funding for potholes and schools.

Baldwij was a fairly popular incumbent vs a very partisan, nasty, and divisive republican

K where did you read Baldwin hate unions? And unions won’t disappear because of public sector jobs such as teachers.

Vukmir was an awful candidate and I imagine many saw voting for Baldwin as a vote against Trump.

Uh, did you even look at the map? The majority of Walker-Baldwin voters were in NW Wisconsin.

Vukmir ran a nasty and partisan campaign like she was running in Alabama a fairly popular incumbent. She blamed Baldwin for the package bombs ffs.

A lot of people in Wisconsin credited the economic growth to Walker and voted for him, but it wasn't enough to beat back Walker fatigue and win him a third term.
