So, Republicans are technically at their all-time (or at least in modern times) high number of governorships right now (tied with the period between Justice switching parties and Murphy being inaugurated in NJ), right?

I didn't realize that Tennessee is the last state to inaugurate governors.  Ours is always on a Saturday, which I like, because it lets me attend without having to take off work.  Hopefully, I'll be able to get up to Nashville for Lee's inauguration!

It's supposed to pour down rain on Saturday for Bill Lee's outdoor inauguration (it will be near 60, but rain is rain).  Four years ago, it was a perfect warm sunny day for Haslam's second inauguration.  As of now, I'm still planning to go, but we will see!

Larry Hogan (R-MD) sworn in for another term:

Bill Lee (R-TN) is now the last one to be sworn in tomorrow ...

Lee won't be sworn in until Saturday.  It's going to be nasty outside for the inauguration.

Fortunately, they have moved Lee's inauguration indoors due to the deluge expected on Saturday in Middle Tennessee.
