Another well deserved "ughhh." Unlike Florida though, I actually figured Kemp was going to win all along so it wasn't as disappointing as when DeSantis won.
Unlike DeSantis,  I don't see Kemp triangulating at all.


That's quite the twist. Kemp was supposedly the somehow less extreme right nominee between he and Cagle in Georgia, in contrast to their personalities, at least from what I knew. Maybe the average Georgian Republican is just that far-right in general.

If you look at Kemp's appointments and staffing, he is actively triangulating.  He's also recently committed to not signing any RFRA legislation that goes beyond the 1993 Federal law.
