Basically, it's extremely difficult for Republicans to win Nevada unless they get Clark County within single digits. Shelley Berkley won it by 9 and only barely lost. This, among many other reasons, is why Heller was clearly DOA all along.

Frankly I’m surprised the Nevada gop hasn’t tried to give Clark county to California.

This. Washoe is trending democratic. That seems to be harming never had a Republicans chances Statewide as much as the growth of Las Vegas.
