THe weird thing is, Field Poll consistantly has most of the prop's failing.  However, SUSA has most of them passing.  Huh

The polling on the Ohio (Reform Ohio Now) and California initiatives have been all over the place.

The truth is that the vast majority of people don't  know a damn thing about them. It really could go either way.

True, and as AuH2O pointed out in the past, most initiatives are worded so positively that people vote 'yes' even if they know nothing about them.

Here's why the polls are so wacky- No one has a damn clue about who will turn out.  No one.  Not in Ohio or California.  IN NYC, NJ Gov, and VA Gov the turnout seems a ittle more predictable because the race is high profile.  I expect low turnout, and I'm never sure who that will end up helping.

I'll tell you one thing though, Prop 76 is lagging well behind the other Props, but this poll only shows it slightly behind.  I don't trust this poll fully.

I could try and predict the outcomes here but it's not worth it. The polling is terrible and turnout will be very low. Because of the involvement of unions and teachers, it's possible the 'nays' could mobilize fairly well on a couple of the props. Total crapshoot.

I'm hoping Prop. 77 passes, honestly, because CA redistricting *causes the politics there to be* uncompetitive on a scale the PRC would be proud of. Tongue
