Post any extreme gerrymanders you made for either party in any state

Just made 5 obama seats and 2 Titanium R in South Carolina. (obviously disregarded VRA)Will post in a while making some tweaks to fix it.

A 16R-2D Pennsylvania map. All of the R seats are around R+5.

Anyway downstate probably could be cleaned up but it was just me being lazy. The only real ugly part is the upstate green district which just connects all the cities upstate which makes a +1 Obama district.

Maryland Democrats could have easily drawn an even more partisan gerrymander if they wanted.

yeah lol they could have gone 8-0. They might have lost 2 seats in 2014 but almost certainly gain them back in 2018 if not 2016.

They could have drawn the map such that all 8 seats were more Democratic than the actual MD-06 is (R+06).

I remember drawing an 8-0 Maryland gerrymander once where every seat was at least D+08, and it was still cleaner that the actual map too.

9-5 Dem map I made back when PVI just came out. All dem seats except the pink one are >D+5, with the pink one only D+4. The five pub seats are the 3 northern ones and the two teal central/southern squiggles. The real crazy thing about this map though is that it is VRA compliant, there are four 50% AA seats here: the Dark Green, Yellow, Red and Peach.

just wondering where do you find the PVI of the seats?
is it 2008 or 2016 based?

(Old) DRA has had PVI for about a year now, calculated from 2012/2016 data.

9-0 GOP gerrymander for Indiana. Diluted the DEM votes by splitting Lake and Marion and including rural areas or GOP suburbs. 4th is close, but still leans slightly R.

I have a strong hunch that that map would've backfired horribly for the GOP in 2018.

Guys, not only could the MD Dems have drawn an 8-0 map, they could have done it in a much, much cleaner way than the bs 7-1 we currently have Tongue
