As many of you may know, I supported Donald Trump's bid for the presidency late in 2016. However, things have drastically changed since then, and my support for his re-election has come into question recently. I'm also a moderate and a registered Independent, so my allegiance tends to change election to election. Trump won independents overwhelmingly in 2016 but I hope he can count on my support again in 2020. I find his immigration policy rather scathing. I am in favor of his economic and foreign policies though. The 2016 election occurred during my freshman year of college, and as I near the end of my college career, I've become much more Democratic.

I was 75% R in high school, 65% Republican at one point during my freshman year based on iSidewith, and now am 55% Democratic.

I guess the more education you acquire, the more Dem leaning you become. Not to mention my university is much more liberal leaning than my conservative religious high school.

I can't see myself supporting anyone other than Bernie Sanders or possibly another populist Democrat over Trump if he really crashes and burns next year. Otherwise, I will probably vote for him again.

Any thoughts??
