Andrew Cuomo faces his toughest threat yet in the Democratic Primary in Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Ocasio-Cortez earns the endorsement of the influential Working Families Party, and says she will not give up the ballot line to Cuomo should she lose the nomination.

Tell me who wins the primary, and as a bonus tell me which Republican wins that party's nomination, and how well they do.

AOC narrowly wins with dominating margins in NYC (except Staten Island). The GOP nominates some random county commissioner who believes we should build the wall but insists he's a moderate. AOC consistently leads in polls. Atlas says candidate quality makes it Lean R. AOC wins by double digits. Atlas continues to misread how normal people work.

Cuomo runs for the fourth term his father was denied. AOC challenges him on her activist progressive platform. Nixon voters update flee to Cuomo, and the result looks like the Hochul vs Williams race. AOC romps in the Bronx, and possibly also Queens and Brooklyn, but loses in Staten Island, Manhattan, Long Island, and everywhere else.

Alexandria Ocasio Cortez would not do any better than Cynthia Nixon. But against a 3rd term governor? I guess she could barely win the nomination but lose the general election.

This (probably wouldn't "romp" in Queens)
