I still don’t see how this bill serves much purpose especially not with proper financing. I will be voting nay as the bill currently stands.

The motion is withdrawn. I'll try again to find out how much such a program would cost, but if I still can't find an amount I'll amend the bill so that the GM Department is responsible for cost analysis rather than the Department of Internal Affairs.

I object. It is not the role of the game moderator to fund congressional bills. The second amendment is fine.

"within the federal government" is a bit vague, no?

Game logistics aside, I support this bill.

Basically, it just means that it would be a federally mandated program. I thought it best to remove all references to the Department of Internal Affairs given the objections raised here.

I previously said the amendment was friendly, but upon further review the time changes proposed are rather arbitrary, while the original lengths of time were adapted from real wage insurance proposals. So I object.

With a majority of representatives voting against adopting the amendment, the vote will close in 24 hours and any Representative who wishes to change his or her vote must do so during that interval.
