So, by yeas and nays (I'm sick of forgetting to set time limits for polls), who wants to move the election schedule up a week (i.e Iowa is March 10, NH is March 13, etc.), so we can just get down to business already?

As there are nine major candidates, it will require five yeas to move forward.

ALEX SINK SPEAKS ON IRAQ WAR AND FOREIGN INVOLVEMENT IN SOUTH CAROLINA

The Governor said on Thursday at her Charleston, South Carolina rally:
Now, you're gonna hear everyone fight over the Iraq War and foreign involvement. Now, I'm gonna give it to y'all straight, like a Southern Girl would always do. I am against the Iraq War, and I am against any war that will take innocent lives away from their mothers. I know the personal experience to have a family member in combat. My husband was in the military while I was giving birth. I know what it's like to be a Single Mother, and had I lost my husband, I don't know what I would've done. So I want every one of y'all not just in the audience, but on this stage to listen. I say, keep our boys and girls home, and let's fix America, IN AMERICA! We can start fixing America by implementing Medicare For All, College Free Tuition, and Implementing Year Round Ethanol! That is the ground game to the way America can grow together. So, let's do it South Carolina!

Sherrod Brown 2020
Rebuild America.

Campaign Schedule (2/2)

Nov. 16 to Nov. 22: Senator Brown takes his campaign from Iowa to New Hampshire for an extensive visit, kicking it off with a rally in Concord, joined by Senator Leahy and Governor Dean, where he proclaimed that "We are going to fight for every vote" and "shock the washington establishment and defeat all expectations." Hitting the trail, Senator Brown goes on a meet & greet New Hampshire Diner tour, visiting iconic locations like the Red Arrow Diner in Manchester, Mary Ann's Diner in Derry, and the Tilt'n Diner in Tilton, emphasizing on a "dignity of work" message, promoting his pro-worker policies, and stressing how "we must reach out to workers and focus on worker's issues." Additionally, he held a series of town halls discussing his plan to protect seniors, by expanding social security, provide universal childcare, and expand the earned income tax credit.

Nov. 23 to Nov. 28: Senator Brown took a Thanksgiving break from the trail after delivering a pep talk to staffers in Manchester. Campaign Communications Director, Jennifer Donohue, delivered a Thanksgiving address.

Nov. 29 to Dec. 6: Brown would hit off the trail in New Hampshire again, holding a series of rallies in Manchester, Nashua, Portsmouth, and Salem, joined by Senator Bernie Sanders in each reaching out to progressive Abrams voters, pushing equal pay for equal work, historic infrastructure investments, and wall street reform. He also took jabs at Senator Kerry for his vote for the Iraq War, calling it "the biggest disaster of the 21st century." Preceding these rallies, Brown took to hold several meet & greets and speeches across New Hampshire in colleges and young democratic groups promoting a youth jobs training program to lower youth unemployment and tuition-free, debt-free college, saying that "Young people have been at the forefront of every great political movement." With the remaining days, he'd hold a few town halls in union halls to, once again, promote his labor reputation, endorsements, and his plan to bolster unions, including cracking down on companies who attempt to diminish unions.

Dec. 7 to Dec. 8: Senator Brown holds a roundtable discussion on the opioid epidemic in New Hampshire to discuss a solution to the epidemic. Coming out of the meeting, Brown declares "the way to end this epidemic is to tackle opioid-dumping from drug companies and make strong investments in access to opioid abuse treatment." The day after, Senator Brown made a speech on the opioid epidemic, saying "we must be vicious in holding the drug companies accountable for their actions to inflate the opioid epidemic and take it with significant priority." From New Hampshire, he takes a flight to South Carolina.

Dec. 9 to Dec. 17: In South Carolina, Senator Brown takes another campaign swing, joined by Congressman John Lewis. Brown takes to hold four rallies across the state to discuss his plan to advance voting rights, including automatic voter registration, making election day a federal holiday, and curbing voter suppression at the state level. Joined by Rep. John Lewis, Senator Brown holds several outreach sessions and meet & greets with members of the African-American community and Abrams supporters, using it to promote his policies to end mass incarceration, raise the earned income tax credit, and progressive reputation in Congress. Concluding the swing, Brown took several interviews on local radio stations where he promoted his base campaign message that "we must restore the dignity of work and rebuild America's working class," "we're seeing stagnant wages while prices rise" and promoted expanding the earned income tax credit, universal childcare, healthcare, and college, and large infrastructure investments to fix roads, bridges, levees, dams, etc and create millions of good-paying jobs.

Dec. 18 to Dec. 19: Senator Brown takes a train from South Carolina to North Carolina. He holds a breakfast meet & greet with in Charleston with local Democratic Party volunteers. Then, the Senator holds a sit-down interview with CBS News. The day after, Senator Brown conducted a meeting with several labor unions backing the Senator and organized to expand organizational support in the campaign to get out the vote for Brown in preparation for next year's primaries. As well, they discussed several issues revolving around labor.

Dec. 20 to Dec. 25: Senator Brown takes a Christmas break after flying out to Iowa to deliver a Christmas address to staffers. Afterwards, it's sent out through a press release. Senator Brown will spend Christmas with Connie and the family back home in Ohio.

Dec. 26 to Dec. 31: Brown takes a flight out to Iowa for a final campaign visit to Iowa, joined by Senators Klobuchar, Baldwin, and Sanders, aswell as Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard. Senator Brown prepared to rally the base, holding large rallies in Cedar Rapids and Davenport where he boosted his credibility and reputation as a progressive lawmaker and said "we're ready to take on wall street and Washington" and "We have a movement building here! It started in Ohio and it's spreading to Nevada, North Dakota, Iowa, and the rest of the country."  He attempted to cut into Kerry's support by further lambasting him for his "wrong judgement" on the Iraq War, which was doubled-down on by Tulsi Gabbard. Leading into the New Year, Senator Brown called his caucus organizers and precinct captains for a series of conference calls leading into the caucus and, as well, carry out a series of outreach phone calls to supporters of Governor Abrams promoting a progressive tone.

I say we give everyone till the 12th - 13th. Santorum said he would be finished by tomorrow. Sherrod only has about a month left to do for his schedule. I think Abrams could finish very quickly considering her agility when it comes to posting.

Lisa Murkowski Runs Ad “Mavericks” in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Texas, and North Dakota

“Over the past year, since announcing my run for President, I keep hearing about how I’m a maverick. How I don’t bend to the will of special interests and blaze my own trail based on values, not partisanship. But, I want to tell you who the real mavericks are.”

“They’re the teachers, who feed the young minds of our nation and allow us to remain innovative and nimble.”

“They’re the servicemembers, who have sacrificed so much to keep us safe.”

“They’re the first responders, putting their lives at risk to save ours.”

“And they’re the families living paycheck to paycheck, just trying to put food on the table and live their lives without government intrusion.”

“At the end of the day, that’s what this is all about, our everyday mavericks who just want solutions, not more of the same.”

“I’m Lisa Murkowski and I approve this message.”

ALEX SINK REVEALS SUPPORT OF UNIVERSAL PRE-K IN NEW HAMPSHIRE

Alex Sink said at a Townhall in Nashua, New Hampshire:
Now, I met with a Single Mother, Karen, in Keene. She had 3 kids, two which were in Pre-K, and one in 3rd grade. Karen has to pay over $200 a week for all of her kids Daycare. Karen doesn't work at a Corporate Job, or at a High Paying Job. Karen works at Burger King, and goes to school to become a nurse at night. Karen is a hardworking mother, and she shouldn't have to spend almost 60% of her income on Pre-K. As President, I'll make sure that we have Universal Pre-K, and Free Pre-K for all Single Mothers, and for Families throughout America. It is the duty of the Government to protect the American People, and if President Romney won't do it, trust me I will. So I say, Pre-K for All, Medicare for All, an America for All!

So, by yeas and nays (I'm sick of forgetting to set time limits for polls), who wants to move the election schedule up a week (i.e Iowa is March 10, NH is March 13, etc.), so we can just get down to business already?

As there are nine major candidates, it will require five yeas to move forward.

Forgot to say yea on this. Let's do it

John Kerry for President

Surrogate & Candidate Schedule September-February

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (MA)

September: Warren will be moving outside of New Hampshire this month, as she campaigns in Nevada and Iowa during September. She will first appear at the University of Northern Iowa, Iowa State University, and The University of Iowa, She will then begin a tour of the central Iowa suburban/rural counties to attempt to combat Senator Brown's appeal to the rural regions of the state. She will be appearing with Rep. O'Rourke, President Clinton, Rep. Lobesack, and Governor Vilsack in Davenport to attempt to appeal to President Clinton's base from his elections in the 90's he carried many of the eastern border counties with over 60% of the vote, while in 2004 Senator Kerry swept the entirety of Iowa's border counties to the east.

October : In October, Warren will be continuing her push outside of New Hampshire by campaigning heavily in Nevada this month. She will appear with Rep. Horsford, Rep. O'Rourke, President Clinton, Vice President Gore, and Vice President Biden in a rally in support of more liberal Immigration legislation in the state. She will then fly to Oklahoma later in the month where she was born, she will hold a rally in her birthplace of Oklahoma City, and meet with Democratic Leaders in the State House and Senate. Following this, she will return to Iowa and continue her campaign among rural voters in the eastern portion of the state where she believes the best margins will be found against Senator Brown.

November: In November, Senator Warren will continue her nationwide trek in support of Senator Kerry. She will be campaigning in North Dakota this month, focusing on the city of Fargo early in the month touting Senator Kerry's support of education reform, and environmental policies. She will speak to the student body of North Dakota State University and meet with Democratic leaders of the State House and State Senate later on. She will also campaign with Senator Dorgan and Rep. Pomeroy in heavily Native American areas of the state touting Senator Kerry's record on environmental issues and his opposition to large pipelines. Following her trip to North Dakota, she will renew her campaigning in Iowa, where she will meet with local Democratic leaders in Des Moines, and will hold a meet and greet at a local public library in the capital. She will then travel to Nevada, where she will meet with Senator Reid, and coordinate the use of the so-called "Reid Machine" to the best effect in the state.

December : In December, Senator Warren will be firmly planted in the state of Iowa. Following a meeting with Governor Vilsack, President Clinton, Senator Kerry, Rep. Lobesack, and Vice President Biden on the campaigns GOTV strategy at the headquarters in Davenport, she will continue her heavy campaigning among the industrial eastern section of the state. She will link up with Senator Kerry, Governor Vilsack, and President Clinton to rally support at a farming expo in central Iowa by promoting the Senator's pro-ethanol and pro-farmer policies. Her campaign in eastern Iowa will center around Senator Kerry's support of pro-farmer, pro-industry, and pro-Social Security policies.

January: In January, Senator Warren will continue her tour of Iowa's eastern border by campaigning heavily for Senator Kerry's policies on the state's eastern border. She has been the head of recruiting volunteers for the Senator's campaign, as volunteers are key to the GOTV effort for the campaign. Following her campaigning in eastern Iowa, she will again visit the University of Iowa, Iowa State University, and Northern Iowa in an attempt to bring undecided or leaning college voters firmly to the side of Senator Kerry. They key demographics for Senator Kerry in Iowa will be those she focuses on in the final days of the month.

February: In early February leading up to caucus day Senator Warren will be campaigning heavily, making close to a dozen stops on the eastern border and helping with the GOTV effort across the state. On the 3rd she will be in Des Moines with Senator Kerry, Governor Vilsack, President Clinton, Senator Dorgan, Rep. Kind, Rep. Lobesack, and many other key Kerry surrogates holding something of a super rally before caucusing starts that night. She will be watching the election results in Des Moines, with Senator Kerry at the Campaign Headquarters in Des Moines, with this key state finally coming to head she can head back to New Hampshire for the first in the nation primary, a state more likely to be friendly to Senator Kerry though.

Rep. Joe Kennedy III (MA)

September: Kennedy will spend the month of September continuing the campaign in New Hampshire, without Senator Warren he is the primary surrogate for Senator Kerry in New Hampshire. Speaking to students at Dartmouth, the University of New Hampshire and other colleges across the state. He will appear a series of townhalls focusing on the policies of Senator Kerry and the plan to bring New Hampshire, and the nation back into the swing of Democratic politics. He will spend three and a half weeks in New Hampshire, then he will go to Iowa and appear at a townhall/Q&A at Iowa State University in an attempt to help Senator Kerry's appeal to younger voters.

October: Kennedy will fly to Virginia in October where he will campaign for Senator Kerry in the Northern Virginia counties of Loudon, Fairfax, and Prince William. His primary message will be Senator Kerry's support for Government Workers, and his support of Universal Healthcare policy. Following this short trip to Virginia, he will head to North Dakota in a brief stop giving a town hall to the students of a local Bismarck High School, and then another at NDSU in Fargo. Following this he will head back to New Hampshire, and give similar Town halls at Dartmouth and the University of New Hampshire, following these events he will head to Nashua where he will speak patrons at a local diner on Senator Kerry's strong support for an Opioid response, Social Security, and Environmental issues.

November: Kennedy will return to New Hampshire again, by campaigning on the issue of education on the state's heavily suburban southern border counties with Massachusetts. He will also campaign in the heavily unionized southeastern sections of the state, there was where John Edwards had the strongest showing in 2004 and where the campaign is attempting to combat the message of Sherrod Brown in the state. Kennedy will then turn his attention to Nevada where he will hold town halls at both the University of Nevada and the University of Nevada Las Vegas where he will focus on the topics of Immigration and Social Issues.

December: Kennedy will return to New Hampshire this month, where he will campaign in Nashua, Concord, and Keene. He will meet with local Democratic leaders in Keene, Concord, and Nashua where he will continue promoting Senator Kerry's mixed populist-pragmatist record as the best way for Democrats to capture the White House, the New Hampshire Legislatures, and the Governors Mansions. He will then head to Virginia where he will hold a series of town halls at the University of Virginia, Virginia Tech University, and Old Dominion University. He will then appear with Senator Kerry, President Clinton, and Vice President Gore at a rally in Concord in support of Senator Kerry. The primary focus of his actions this month are to appeal to those in the major population centers of New Hampshire, and to reach out to College Voters in Virginia.

January: Kennedy will be continuing his campaign in New Hampshire, but will be appearing at events that attract older, more moderate, New Hampshire residents. He will be highlighting the response plan for the opioid crisis, the green legislation that Senator Kerry has endorsed and campaigned on, and his plans for legislation on education to help combat the need for state governments to focus so heavily on it. Following this, he will have several luncheons with volunteers in the suburban areas of southern New Hampshire and coordinating apart of the GOTV effort with those in the Massachusetts exurbs of the State. On January 25th he will fly to Ames, where he will take part in a concentrated campaign to turn out Iowa State University students and the local populace in favor of Senator Kerry.

February Kennedy will be continuing his focus on Ames and Iowa State University, with the close nature of the Iowa caucus he will be focusing on firming up support for Kerry among college educated white voters in Ames as they are one of the key groups for Senator Kerry across the state. He will also focus on the suburbs of Ames, as they too are a key group targeting "Soccer Moms" and college educated voters in the suburbs will be key to a Kerry victory in the state, He will attend a Pancake Breakfast with volunteers in Ames before helping with the GOTV effort in the college town and it's surrounding suburban community, before finally settling in and watching the returns at the campaign office in Ames.

Rep. Steny Hoyer (MD)

September: Rep. Hoyer will continue to fundraise for the campaign and will be focusing heavily on tapping into the African American donor base in cities like Baltimore, Detroit, Chicago, and Philadelphia. While a solid campaigner, Senator Kerry and Rep. Hoyer believe his best value to the campaign will be in D.C. and the surrounding area where he can bring Superdelegates to the campaign's side. He will also be one of the campaign's chief faces on talk shows in the D.C. area he will be on Tucker Carlson and Face the Nation this month.

October: Hoyer will continue campaigning among the members of the House of Representatives he will bring on Senator Kerry's side Rep. Joaquin Castro and in turn his brother Former Mayor Julian Castro. Following this, Hoyer will actually begin campaigning in Iowa, he will not be campaigning in the traditional sense, but he will work on bringing state senators, and representatives onto the side of Senator Kerry. He will also work on bringing members of the county parties and recruiting prescient committeemen to help bring Iowa into the Kerry column.

November: He will renew his efforts of building support for Senator Kerry within the local Democratic establishments, as the former Minority whip, and Majority Leader, Hoyer has spent decades building relationships with the members of the state party. He will be talking about how he, Leader Ryan, Whip Schiff, Chairman Jefferies, and Leader Schumer believe Senator Kerry is the best opportunity to retake the House and Senate as well as the state legislature of New Hampshire to the Democratic column.

December: Hoyer will return to D.C. this month and continue the campaign in the house of representatives to pickup support for Senator Kerry. He will begin by bringing 2 more African American representatives in G.K. Butterworth and Alma Adams onto the side of Senator Kerry, as both are members of the North Carolina delegation this will allow them to hopefully swing the state into Senator Kerry's column and it's twin to the south as well.

January: By the new year, Hoyer's recruiting will have paid off bringing in 5 new endorsements for Senator Kerry's campaign with the final one coming in the middle of January by Illinois Congresswoman Cheri Bustos. He will be focusing on attracting further donors for Senator Kerry as he will need to continue getting more cash if he expects to expand upon a solid finish in the early contests.

February: In the early days of the month Hoyer will be coordinating Senator Kerry's ground game in Iowa, he will help purchase buses for the campaign to shuttle voters to and from the polling places, and contribute to the campaign.

ALEX SINK CAMPAIGNS ON UNIVERSAL BACKGROUND CHECKS IN CALIFORNIA

At a Saturday Rally, Governor Sink said this regarding Universal Background Checks:
I believe in the 2nd amendment, but we have to ensure that we are being careful with who we sell guns to, and how we can sell them. I am in full support of allowing companies to sell guns, but there must be background checks. There must be Universal Background Checks, nationwide, so that way we make sure that firearms end up in the right hands, not the wrong ones. We need Common Sense Gun Control, and as President I plan to take action on this issue, and implement it as soon as possible.

NEW SINK ENDORSEMENTS

Senator Jacky Rosen

The Senator had this to say regarding the 2020 Race on Saturday:
I was elected by the people of Nevada, so it is in my best interest to support and endorse someone who will represent them well as President. I've actually spoken to every candidate, and I have made my choice on whom I am going to support and endorse. I will be endorsing Governor Alex Sink, and will help her campaign.

Rep. Colin Allred

The Representative released this statement on Sunday:
Many people have been asking me and my office about the support for President in this very contested and heated primary. I've examined the candidates, and have made my pick. I am making my choice, not just for me, but for every single African American little boy and little girl who need someone to look up to. Who need someone to fight for them. Who need someone to represent them. I've chosen to endorse Governor Alex Sink, not for me, but for us.

Carpenter' Independence Conference

The Union Spokesman said this outside the Front Steps of their HQ on Sunday:
As the largest Union in the city of Las Vegas, we represent hundreds of thousands of people. We have to make an endorsement that will represent all of them, and make an endorsement that'll count. We know that this candidate will raise the minimum wage, fight for Union Rights, and ensure that everyone in this Union receives the best representation as President. We've chosen to endorse Governor Alex Sink. Thank you.

ALEX SINK COMES OUT IN SUPPORT OF NET NEUTRALITY AT RALLY IN SOUTH CAROLINA

Alex Sink on Sunday, said this at a rally in South Carolina:
Net Neutrality is crucial to equality for all Americans on the internet. If we get rid of net neutrality, then we get rid of everything this country is based on, fairness and equality. As President, I am going to advance an agenda to secure equality on the internet, so that way our country can grow together in real life and on the internet. I'm also going to get passed an Internet Bill of Rights, so we can finally e ensure that they can't take our rights away in the real world, or on the internet! This is a bold vision, and I need your help to get it pass. So I say to all of you in South Carolina, join us!

Governor Abrams Statement

Good evening, America! It is wonderful to be here with you tonight, even if I have to bear some news some of us won't like to hear.

I entered this campaign full of enthusiasm at the movement we were building. I still know that we are great and that we can prove that, together, we can do the impossible.

However, I've thought more and more about what it means to serve. I know that we are still far from over building the Georgia we want, and I want to focus on that for now. As such, with bittersweet feelings, I am suspending my campaign for President of the United States. I am not only joyous but also incredibly humbled by the movement we have built. The people that we have met, the dreams that we have fueled, the hopes we've voiced... it all goes to show how far a girl from Mississippi can go.

I am a strong believer, however, in that a movement is not built by or around one person. I have merely been a vehicle for your thoughts, hopes, and voices, and I will continue doing so as Governor and as a voice in the Party. This is not the last of me.

I will not be making an endorsement at this time. Senators Kerry and Brown and Governor Sink are all very prepared people who will make sure we can have A Dream for Everyone, and I ask my supporters to vote their conscience. We all want to turn the White House blue.

Thank you, once again. This is not the end of a campaign because it wasn't about me, it is the morphing of a movement. It is the beginning of a better, fairer era. As I go back to working full-time for the people of Georgia, I do so with my hope alive that a better America is coming and that we all helped build it. Thank you all, and let's get out there and build a dream for everyone.

My statement:

Well, this has probably been very high up on the list of games I've enjoyed. All of you are great players and Dat has been a downright awesome GM. However, I just can't take the time right now to pull it all off. As such, I will be needing to drop out of this one, but I can tell you all here on the Games Board: you'll see me back in a game lol. I really thank (and apologize to) Dat and all of you guys, and wish you all the best of luck!
