Election Night 2020
with your hosts, Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCibE6jbkT8&list=RDQMHRAVROm2E_4&index=1

Kelly: And we're back, with the polls having just closed across Iowa, and we are getting the first early votes trickling in.

Democrats
Sherrod Brown - 34.12% (799 votes)
John Kerry - 33.01% (773 votes)
Alex Sink - 32.87% (769 votes)

Republicans
Lisa Murkowski - 26.75% (1036 votes)
Phil Scott - 26.75% (1036 votes)
Justin Amash - 24.36% (944 votes)
Rick Santorum - 22.14% (858 votes)

Kelly: And remember, folks. These results are just the tip of the iceberg, with less than 1% actually reporting. However, they are all the results we have at this time.

AMASH CAMPAIGN HQ RELEASES STATEMENT ON IOWA CAUCUS RESULTS

"While we know we aren't going to finish first, this placement is actually a win for the Amash team. The Des Moines Register's Poll had us in a distant fourth and we have ended in a competitive third place. We've outperformed our polling expectations and are excited by that. Rep. Amash will begin speaking soon."

ALEX SINK IOWA CONCESSION SPEECH

Quote

Des Moines, Iowa

Iowa, I know this isn't what we wanted. I'm so sorry that I couldn't give all of you a win tonight. I know a lot of you are sad, but don't cry, don't dwell on this. They'll say that we need to give up, but if we give in, then who are we? We given a voice to so many young girls and boys, and so many families. So, no, we will not give in. This campaign is one of hope, with bold ideas. We're going to stay in, we're going to take it to New Hampshire, and Nevada, and South Carolina, and every other state in this great country.

If you would've told us that we would've gotten 30% in Iowa 8 months ago, we would've written you off. We would've said that there is no way. Well, we've done it folks. We were so close to 2nd place, but everything happens for a reason. So, all of you I have one request. You go home, you take a shower, you get some sleep, and tomorrow, you do your best. You work hard for yourself, your family, and for this country. We depend on you, we depend on your voices. I want you all to campaign hard with us, I want you to help us along this way. So, in closing folks, let's do this. Let's take it to New Hampshire, and let's spread this message from Los Angeles to Bangor. Let's spread this message from Marquette to Brownsville. I'm not going to win this race. We're going to win this race. Thank you so much Iowa, and goodnight!

Lisa Murkowski Speaks At Election Watch Party

“Iowa, we did it! I hope this result reminds us all how important it is for our voices to be heard. I am overjoyed to receive your support tonight, and this victory is not mine, it’s ours. It illustrates the fact that we are hopeful for the future, that we care about results over partisanship, and that there is a path forward in politics without the negativity. I can tell you, this campaign is far from over, and will will carry this momentum onward to New Hampshire, the nomination, and then the White House! But, Iowa, you’ve had your voice heard, and I will continue to listen. Thank you!”

AMASH RESPONDS TO IOWA RESULTS

"Well, they say there are three tickets out of Iowa, and we just got one!"

*Cheering*

"I know we didn't win, but I'd like to congratulate Lisa on her photo-finish, truly some exciting stuff. I know that we've made great achievements here today. We were polling far behind, dead last. But here we are today, we managed to make our way up. We came ahead of somebody that managed to win Iowa in 2012. I'm so proud of the progress we've made. Together, we're going to bring the message of Liberty to the White House!"
