Campaign Update

The Phil Scott California campaign is spending money on quick deliveries of Pizza to long lines in Los Angeles, Fresno, Santa Barbara, and San Francisco. Volunteers are doing last minute calls as well, and starting chants on voter lines. Anything to keep voters on line!

Manfred statement in response  to the situation in Venezuela
The ousting of dictator Nicholas Manduro is good for not just Amercia and Venezuela but the rest of Latin Amercia.
As President me and a new Venezuelan government hopefully will be able to freely trade goods through there and along with the rest of the industrialized world and promote the values of democracy.

ALEX SINK VICTORY SPEECH, LOS ANGELES

Excerpt

Alex Sink dances on stage with Family and Senator Harris to the following song:

https://youtu.be/AOObrFXrmP4

Well California, would you look at that! We proved em' wrong, didn't we folks? What a night, am I right? Woo, I'm going to let you guys in on a secret. Me and Kamala were in the back room, and we were so nervous, so you know what we did, we danced it out! That's what we have to do folks, that is how we keep calm. I just want to say thank you, to each and every one of you, and to Senator Harris, Governor Newsom, Representative Lieu, Mayor Garcetti, and everyone else here tonight. We not only made history tonight, but we made it BIG!

We showed that when you fight for an Affordable America, and one that works, you win. That is how we're going to keep on winning, and take this movement all the way to the White House! If you saw on the TV earlier, Senator Brown ran an attack ad on our campaign. He said that we were, "Anti-Gay" and that "we don't represent Democratic Values." Well, it seems like the people of California, Virginia, and North Carolina disagree! Not only has this campaign been endorsed by the Largest Pro-LGBT Rights Group in America, but we're proud to say that if I'm President every single LGBT Couple will have the same rights as Heterosexual Couples. That's how we make sure that our country recognizes all people, not as 2nd class citizens, but as Americans. That is what we'll continue to do, isn't it?

I want to also thank, although we aren't there tonight, the states of Virginia and North Carolina, you are the reason we're going to win. It's grassroots that wins campaigns, not ads demeaning a candidate. Although it is necessary sometimes to expose truths, it's important to mainly focus on a vision for America. That's what we're doing, we're spreading our message, and clearly it is working. I want to tell all of the little boys, and little girls watching tonight, here is proof. Here is proof that even if you're just a little girl growing up in North Carolina, that moves to Florida and doesn't quite fit in, you have a chance. You have a chance to become a successful business person, run for Political Office, and win.

Me, being a woman, is honestly something very big for me personally. Everyday I wake up, and think, what can I do for my state, and for my country, not how can I attack the opposite gender, or another candidate. That isn't how elections are won. We're going to win this, because we focus on the people. So, although we'll have to be leaving soon, we'll always be here in spirit and heart. I want to thank you all, so so much, for making this happen, for us. Let's keep this going, we still need your help!

Lisa Murkowski Releases Statement on Maduro

“In a free and fair society, every vote should be counted, and we should all be able to rest easy knowing our leaders are legitimate. Unfortunately, that was not the case with Nicolás Maduro in Venezuela. The irregularities in his election, the extremism of his regime, and the crisis he has created in Venezuela are all disqualifying on there own, and are especially together. I am hopeful that the country can move on with its rightful President Juan Guaidó, and I look forward to working together to heal the rifts Maduro left on relations between our great nations.”

Phil Scott Super Tuesday Speech

(Burlington, March 3rd, 11:54)

Thank you, thank you everyone. It's been an exciting night.

(Clapping, cheering)

Wow, really wow. I hope you have all seen the numbers out of Vermont tonight. We showed up, we really showed up. We're winning here, let me tell you. By 54 points. That's...that's tremendous.

(Clapping, cheering)

We really sent a big message tonight out here in the Northeast. We won Massachusetts, thanks to the great effort put in by Governor Baker, Governor Weld, Lieutenant Governor Polito, they were out on the street, they got the voters to the polls, and they helped us win. We came in a strong second in Virginia tonight, Governor Hogan was out there, Scott Taylor and Robb Witman were out there. We sent a big message. They we need to put politics aside, and focus on what matters. You know who matters, you, you know what matters, the issues.

(Cheers)

Cutting taxes, eliminating the deficit, closing tax loopholes, investing in our kids, our future, our infrastructure. Ending Washington's gridlock. Protecting our communities. We won tonight, tonight, we declare a big victory. We have won 2 contests, and California, California is going down to the wire. Tomorrow, no matter the results in California, we're gonna make up. We're gonna have some coffee (laughs). And we're gonna hit the campaign trail. We're gonna knock on doors, we're gonna make calls, we're gonna fight hard. And you know what, we're gonna win. Thank you Vermont for this win tonight! Thank you Governor Douglas, thank you Diana, Rachael, Erica. Thank you. Gosh, I love you all so much. Thank you Vermont! Thank you Republicans!

Phil Scott for President

Phil Scott Schedule through March 7th

Schedule up to March 7th:

March 4th: Gubernatorial Duties/Town Hall in Burlington
March 5th: Town Hall in Portland Maine, door knock in Portland, meet with undecideds
March 6th: Major Rally in Bangor with Charlie Baker, Bus Tour rural Northern Maine
March 7th: GOTV Activities in Portland

Phil Scott Remarks at Bangor Rally

(March 6th, Major Excerpt)

Maine is gonna send a message tomorrow. A message, that we say enough to a Washington that works for lobbyists and special interests. A Washington that feeds partisan politics, and reckless spending, not bipartisan problem solving and responsible leadership. Tomorrow, Maine says enough! We thing Washington oughta work like Augusta. Politicians work together to craft balanced budgets, lower taxes, and better roads. But also like kitchen tables, at community centers, and at city halls across America. Here in Maine, on lobster boats, and with each other. Mainers don't shout at each other when they disagree, they don't turn to nasty personal insults. They have an honest conversation, they look each other in the eye, and they work together. They work together, they accomplish their goal, and then they go out for a drink!

We can do better than Washington! I know we can! Mainers live this America, an America more united, less petty, and more whole. We can aspire to a better kind of politics, where we put people, Mainers, before special interests. Mainers before lobbyists. So tomorrow Maine reaches for the stars and the skies, but first, we say enough! We're gonna reject the establishment way of doing things, and we're gonna put people before politics!

Reaired in Maine, Illinois, and Connecticut

Phil Scott Ad #5: Trust

To air in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina

Quote

(Jackson, Iowa Voter)

"When Phil sat down with me to discuss my small business, I know he was talking the truth, because he owned a small business."

(Jennifer, New Hampshire voter)

When Phil talked about keeping our families safe, I know he means it, cause he has his own kids, and keeps Vermont safe.

(Addison, South Carolina voter)

Governor Scott is the first politician to come around here that I really trust with the future.

Hi, I'm Phil Scott, we must restore trust and accountability in government, too many people no longer trust our government. I want to change that, then we can get to work on the issues that matter. I'm Phil Scott and I approve this message.

Lisa Murkowski Speaks to Supporters on Super Tuesday Results

“Your hard work paid off! Wow! As the results have come in, I have been more humbled by the coalition we have built together. From Alaska to Wyoming, here in California, in Virginia and Alabama, primary voters have put their support and trust into not just me, but the vision supported by all of you. Even where we didn’t win, we kept it close enough to grab the delegate lead. Naysayers have claimed that the Republican primary is unwinnable by an independent thinking woman from Alaska, but tonight, we proved them wrong! This primary is far from over, but Super Tuesday has put the wind at our backs, and together, we will win. Thank you!”

Lisa Murkowski Re-Airs Ad in KS, ME, LA, OH, FL, and ID

Lisa Runs Ad “Independent Energy” in Iowa, North Dakota, New Hampshire, and Nevada

“This country was founded on independence. We don’t like to have to rely on anyone else in order to function as a nation.”

“As an Alaskan, I understand this also carries over to our energy production.”

“We must pursue all energy production types if we are truly to be independent. This means using our natural resources effectively, with oil, natural gas, solar, and wind all working hand in hand to power our industry and our homes.”

“I’m Lisa Murkowski, and as Chair of the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, I have worked to push the United States into an energy policy as independent as her people. I can promise you I will carry this effort into the White House to keep your energy costs down, and standards up. I endorse this message because a truly energy independent country is within our reach.”
