A black female gun grabbing lawyer from California.

Good luck with the WWC in Michigan and Ohio. Cheesy
At least you admit it's racism/sexism

About time they do. It's always funny to me how the same people who pretend the only reason those infamous WWC voters went for Trump in 2016 was because of economic anxiety and it had nothing to do with race and gender will always talk about how Gillibrand, Booker or Harris have absolutely no chance to win any of these voters back.

It's not racism and sexism. It's feminism and identity politics.
Stealing from the Lee Atwater book of BS I see.

Reaganfan: *gives simple and accurate response*

You: BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!

Don't waste your breath, dude. To quote Bill Mahar, "In the liberal world, Trump is evil, Russia will save us and Trump can't get re-elected."

Using muh identity politics and muh feminism to justify why a "black female gun grabbing lawyer from California" can't win muh WWC is political correctness at its absolute. I know how you guys love to bash on PC culture too. Smiley

she can't win ohio, she can't win florida, she can't win election

She doesn't have to win Ohio or Florida to win the election. She only has to win the same states as Hillary did in 2016 plus MI, PA & WI and that's it. If she wins any other states (potentially NC, IA, GA, FL or AZ) then that's just padding the victory/score.

Also, no Democratic candidate besides MAYBE Sherrod Brown or Joe Biden is winning Ohio.

I agree that she can't win Ohio (or at least only a <5% of winning), but she can win Florida, although other Democrats are more favoured than her to win in Florida. I think Biden is the best candidate for Florida, because he is a moderate, because he is associated with Obama, because the state has many WWC vote residing in it, and it also has an older population.

Here in Georgia with a bunch of organizers and party people on my social media (more of them white than black I might add) and this announcement by far has gotten the biggest and most fervent reaction. She’s sweeping the South.

Too early to tell, especially considering we might have at least a dozen candidates in the primary.

Just like Pelosi, she has an advantage due to being from Cali. I dont think any of the candidates can muddy her up, unlike Booker, who was supposed to be in her shoes.

However, most black voters have no interest in the wall. That other Dem continuencies hold dear. She has to balance that.

This thread is funny. Acting as if nominating a white male who NEVER speaks about issues that disproportionally affect women and non-white people that he will get within spitting distance of the White House. Newsflash: The 90’s are over.

Identity politics is telling me to ignore Harris' record as a prosecutor because she looks more like me than Sanders or Warren do. I'm good love, enjoy.

She's the perfect candidate if Democrats want to avoid having to incessantly talk about identity politics.  A male nominee would have to constantly be assuring women that gender equality is a top priority.  A white nominee would have to constantly be assuring minorities that  racial equality is a top priority.  Harris, being a black woman, doesn't have to do any of that.  Like Obama, she can just trust in the unavoidable, inherent symbolism of whom she is and focus her actual rhetoric on economic issues.  She's the candidate Democrats should choose if they want economics to be their message.

Let's be completely honest here, if she gets a decent amount of support, it'll ONLY be because of the boxes she checks for sjw Democrats, not because of anything she's done in her career.
