If Neil Abercrombie was nominated for President and picked Mikie Sherrill as his running mate, would they win every CD in New Jersey? I think that they would definitely win all but the 4th, and the 4th would be a tossup - after all, while long-time centrist incumbent Chris Smith did win reelection in 2018, Democrats outvoted Republicans in the primary. With both a presidential nominee like Abercrombie who has broad-based appeal to the general electorate and a vice presidential nominee like Sherrill who specifically appeals to suburbs and military voters, even the 4th district could be close.

Thoughts? Are there any other tickets in 2020 who could win every congressional district in New Jersey?

I imagine Wilder/McGreevey might do quite well.

Do you mean Douglas Wilder? I hadn't thought of him as a potential candidate in 2020, so I'm curious to hear your thoughts as to why he may be successful.

As long as NJ-7 exists as it does, no Democrat is winning every congressional district.

You mean NJ-4?
