Get ready for another primary of brogressives inadvertently helping Trump. Will Bernie call these diehard out? Probably not.

If Kamala Harris or Beto O'Rourke or Amy Klobuchar win the nomination, will Bernie supporters vote for them in the general election?

Not if you keep shouting "You'RE NoT DEmOcrAtS" at them.
If anyone looks at Trump, Kavanaugh, Charlottesville, Pittsburgh, and our current policies and decides to stay home - they are complicit.

Resident neolibs triggered at the thought of implementation of policies that help the working class.
Notice the lack of antagonism towards Warren. I think this is more about the inevitable re-litigation of 2016 (Kamala playing Hillary despite being more leftist but she's a frontrunner with a vagina so...) and the return of the Bernie cult.

Finally, a candidate white affluent hipsters can relate to.

Still will vote for him if he somehow wins the nomination, despite the annoyance of his more cultish backers. Hopefully there will be a lack of "*insert woman frontrunner* is a neoliberal whore" this go around.

Why does Bernie want to split the leftist vote? Does he really think he's the only candidate of sufficient purity? If he truly values the long-term strength of his cause, he'll endorse someone younger and fresher and not just hog his hardline supporters from other candidates who agree with him on practically every major issue.

Warren is a fair amount to his right, and not polling as well as him. Gabbard and Yang seem to be going nowhere. If the was a candidate anywhere as left and as strong as Bernie but younger, we'd be all for that candidate. But there isn't. This is nonsense that the other candidates all agree with him on practically every major issue. How many supported single payer before 2016 (or even 2017)? How many voted against all of the Trump military increases? It's insulting to claim that they are all like Bernie on the issues when a lot of them are obviously faking it.
Right. So I assume you believe Bernie is faking it in regards to immigration, energy, and gun control too?

I voted for Bernie in the primaries and I've never had a problem with most of his policies. My issue is the diehard Bernie or Busters who would rather see the Democrats lose, just to prove a point. It's not the time for such egotistical thinking. Also his selfishness by refusing to concede when he had no chance of victory was stupid. Just like 2008 with Hillary.

He has every right to run. My issue with Bernie has never been with himself. It's his hardcore supporters who act like my sister did when she was 11 whenever the Backstreet Boys were brought up. She at least never threatened to throw a tantrum if they lost a VMA award or something.

Sanders is the only credible candidate to reverse the oligarchy & build a new realignment. He is the only hope for a progressive agenda & will be a very strong GE candidate.

Here we f**king go again.

Why couldn't Bernie do the world a favor and leave us alone?

Trump would demolish this fool in the general.

Yes, Trump would demolish the most popular politician in the country, but surely a Clintonite like Harris or Gillibrand would do better 🙄

I know I'm not the first person to say this, but I'm starting to see 2020 as 1980, and I think Sanders is a direct parallel to Ronald Reagan - people say he's "too old", "too radical", etc, but in the end he ends up being just what the electorate wants after 4 years of a failed President.
How is Harris a Clintonite? I want you to go to her page, look at her policies and explain why she's a "Clintonite".

Flipping seats with an improved performance in WV, and actually winning WV are two different things.
It said the poll had Bernie beating Trump. I'm sure Rep. Ojeda will canvass against Trump when the time comes in Battleground WV.

Shelley Moore Capito voters for Bernie!

I remember Bernie bots decrying the notion that Dems would compete in GA, NC, TX, and AZ and this fool wants to compete in freaking OK.

Why does Bernie not want to compete in the Sun Belt states with heavy non-white populations?

I believe its suppose to be that the point of the poll is to show that White Rural Voters are a big fan of Sanders' message which would allow them to make plays in states with high White Rural voter populations. That would make sense for the states mentioned.
Yeah until he says "Black Lives Matter" and then those states will immediately turn off on him.

He deserves and shall be the nominee! Off with the corporate whores shills!

My reaction:

I’m not even sure what point they’re trying to make. Is there one?

Many women are afraid of the harassment that would come forward from the Bernie cult that refuses to die out the misogynist taunts  that's hurried  towards extremely brave women like Hillary Clinton or Kamala Harris. It's saddening when freedom of speech is repressed by an all powerful demographic  group that wants to cease any opposition to a candidate they support. In a nation like America this shouldn't be the case under our democracy. If this all erupted during metoo fiasco of the past few years the media would've been harder on Bernie to call out on his disgraceful supporters.

Bernie Sanders should address this important issue during the campaign trail or at least confessed it with an interviewer that wants his take on the Bernie Bro phenomenon.

Well to be honest, every criticism about someone like Kamala Harris has been largely legitimate and with evidence. Yet, the response is invariably one of these:

"Doesn't matter."
"No one cares."
"It's irrelevant."
"You're only saying this because She's a woman/black/a black woman"
"You're racist/sexist."
"You hate women/blacks"

The amount of times I've been called racist or sexist on here for criticising the Anointed One borders on ridiculous, as does the fact that you froth at the mouth everyone someone dares breathe Sanders' name.
Nice straw man.

Good on Bernie for standing against dictators. Shame most of the responses are deranged tankie maniacs who are now calling Bernie a pawn of Dick Cheney. Socialist apologism for Maduro is disgusting.

Gonna say it now: If Biden doesn't run (and maybe still if he does) Bernie will win decisively.

His only real opponent on his political wing is Warren and she is polling at what? 8 percent? Harris, Booker, Gillibrand, etc will take away each others votes. Bernie knows how to run a campaign, has much better infrastructure and more experience, a better staff than last time, fantastic name recognition and favorability, staggering numbers in terms of both donations and supporters and maybe most importantly as Trump has proven his core base can really make a difference in a crowded field. Oh and seriously Harris would be washed away in a head to head match up. How does she wanna attack him? "Your ideas and goals are so horrible and unrealistic that I copied them!"...?
This comment is a joke.

So is the Anointed One winning in a landslide like you people fantasize about.
There is no "Anointed One". Also, no Kamala supporter has said that she will win in a landslide.
They're desperate to make her the next Hillary.

You hear Democratic establishment,

Bernie is running a 50-state campaign. The way it should be.

If Bernie wins the nomination, he would be smart to do a Kerry-Edwards train-tour type campaign in the heartland.

You're right. They're secretly socialist, but they just don't know it yet. If only Democrats stopped talking about identity politics they'd come home.

I normally dont watch these kinda things, but Im snowed in and have nothing better to do. So far, Im highly impressed. Didnt expect Turner to be such a great speaker.
She voted for Jill Stein and encouraged others to do so as well.

Obviously Sanders is DOA though, and once people hear about one line he wrote in an essay 47 years ago, he'll lose 80% of his support. Roll Eyes Considering that he pretty much went in all for IA and NH early on last time around, it's clear that he's making some different tactical decisions this time around, and is trying to appeal to a wider base of voters. Whether or not he's successful in doing so is a different story and yet to be seen, but barring some enormous unforeseen event, he's not getting some 7th place showing in Iowa. He's a contender, whether Atlas posters like him/want to admit it or not.
Yeah he is and has every right to run. But his hardcore zealots ironically remind me of Hillary's from 2016. Bernie deserves the nomination, and anyone who stands in his way must be destroyed, general election be damned.

Turner didn't endorse Stein.

"I'm a Democrat, and that's worth fighting for." - Nina Turner

I have to apologize. She didn't technically didn't endorse Stein. She only campaigned with her and continued to bash Clinton after the nomination was lost.

If you watch the video she introduced Jill Stein as the next speaker at the event she was at and on TV when asked who shes supporting she said the american people so not Jill Stein
Two candidates.

1.) Constantly sh**t on (Hillary)
2.) Hug and make her seem like the best lady ever (Jill Stein)

De facto endorsement.
