That being said, I would never be shocked if the above were true about any Republican pro-lifer who couldn't restrain his desires and suffered condom failure.  I appreciate tie GOP's pro-life stance.  I also recognize that its an alliance, and few of the GOP are, in their hearts, pro-life.  They are proof that there is some value to electing a hypocrite if the right thing becomes public policy.

 It's not the right thing. They have no problem with abortion procedures for their mistresses and teenage daughters(Sarah Palin being the exception). They turn around and take a critical chunk out of Women's Healthcare for others based on some false morality, that they themselves don't practice. That's not just hypocrisy, that's actually evil.

 Abortion is a very common procedure. Even the Clinton B.S. about abortion being safe, legal, and rare never made sense. It might be a good political slogan but it's not backed up by data. Many women get abortions, from all walks of life, for many different reasons. The politics around abortion are simply anti-woman in the broadest sense. It doesn't matter what the laws of this nation are, if you think rich women or the women related to powerful men in this country will stop getting abortion procedures in the privacy of their doctor's office, you're naive.
