I can assume sponsorship of this for OSR.


As I see it, this mainly works to reduce red tape and bureaucratic delays and thus regardless of our positions on immigration I think that it is beneficial to move in that direction, though I would point out that often times delays are caused by lack of resources as much as a lack of priority.

I also agree with OSR when he said in the House that this is aimed mainly at retaining talent in the country, which would be beneficial to the economy and job creation overall.

I also want to thank Speaker Jimmy and Sestak for ensuring that this was better formatted and better worded than the original version.

I'm going to support this bill as it boosts our economy and it is the right thing to do, I hope the rest of the Senate agrees with me. These are people with the skills we need, and so it makes sense to pass this so we can keep their skills and talent which will benefit everyone.
