Right now, Toy Story 4.

Pixar is usually quite good at delivering, and they haven't messed up Toy Story yet.

That said, I'm expecting the best to be yet again (after Logan in 2017 or Crazy Rich Asians last year) something that comes from behind.

For now, Avengers, but once that comes out, Episode IX.

Avengers Endgame. 11 years of buildup to one of the biggest events in movie history.

Write-in: Jojo Rabbit

However, if we're counting TV shows then the answer is the Jordan Peele-produced revival of The Twilight Zone.

My comment was more to signal how little stake I had in the film industry at this point, combined with bemoaning the death of a great series.

Detective Pikachu. The concept appears rather original judging by the trailer, and the film isn't a sequel/prequel/remake or part of some massive film franchise.

Yeah, the concept is a very good idea, it's based off a game by the same name
