Id take this with a grain of salt.  Its no secret that the Sun despises Ehrlich and worships the ground O'Malley walks on.  The Sun is actually in the process of suing Ehrlich.

15% is funny, but the fact that O'Malley and Duncan are both leading is not.  The Gonzales Research poll also showed both Dem's up.  Gonzales has a good track record -- They did well in 2002.  Also, if you look at Ehrlichs approval rating it has steadily decreased since 2002.  I think people are getting tired of a single issue Governor.  The legislature is not going to give Ehrlich a slots bill. Its time to move on and focus on more important issues like tuition rates (up 40% in 3 years) and revitalizing the Chesapeake Bay.

The Gonzales poll is probably good (it showed O'Malley up 6 and Duncan up 1, right?), though I agree with your rationale of the Sun.

Speaking of the Chesapeake Bay... I think that will be my litmus test for the Democratic Primary.  Whichever Democrat proposes the best plan to clean up the Bay, that Democrat will receive my vote.

If Maryland elects that joke named O'Malley I will have lost all hope for that state.
