If Biden was really racist, he would not have accepted to be Barack Obama's running mate in 2008.

That doesn't say anything about whether or not he is racist, it just says that he didn't turn down a golden opportunity. There are plenty of racist people who don't allow their bias to interfere with their career.
White people generally think racism is a white and black issue (no pun intended). There is TONS of grey area and nuance. Biden can absolutely support racist policies in the name of bipartisanship and accept Obama’s offer.

Is that closeted racism, to be blunt?

Yep. John Wayne was an avowed white supremacist but all people of color who worked with him testified that he was a consummate professional and treated them with nothing but respect and kindness.

Add Lester Maddox, who played a band with a black man who worked in his restaurant. But the notion Biden is racist is ridiculous.

Strom Thurmond and Jesse Helms supported Clarence Thomas.

Okay, now care to find any evidence of Biden being an "avowed white supremacist", or anything even close to that?

People are grasping at straws here, and I don't even like Biden

Non-issue. No one will care about him opposing a failed policy well over 40 years ago.

His language attacking it though is pretty concerning though. Plus lots of blacks also opposed busing.

Yeah this basically. Do most people, even on the left, think busing was a net benefit? Of course much of the opposition to it came from bigots but that doesn’t mean it was a good policy.
