I don't think Hood will have a problem winning the primary.

He will win in 2019, no mattter what, even against GOP standard bearer, Reeves

I hope so but I wouldn't be so sure.
You support Hood? Man, I have a really hard time following your ideology Tongue

Why? IMHO - it's normal ideology of Southern Democrat, or even pragmatic Southern Republican (many of which in state legislatures are exactly former Southern Democrats).

im pretty sure yall politics is the pollster that had a poll with a 18% black electorate. I throw them in the trash but I still think Hood could lose this primary. Hood needs important black endorsements such as Bennie Thompson.

And if Hood loses - Republicans may begin to celebrate immediately. Smith is unelectable. Even pragmatic and vey moderate liberal Espy couldn't..... It's probably about 15 years before  Mississippi will vote for Black Democrat for statewide post...
