You'd think that with the army of aides and consultants they have around these candidates now that someone would have been smart enough to plan an event, in Minnesota, in February, inside.....

Nope.

Everyone can hold it indoors, but she's badass enough to hold it outdoors because of the fun.

The stage could need some Mexicans/Latinos ...

The crowd is white, the snow is white, Klobuchar is white.

They probably tried hiring some to show up, but they quit before they showed up.

Guys, that crowd doesn't seem to care about the snow. They're pretty loud.

This is by far the worst launch yet, complete disaster. There's absolutely no reason this couldn't be indoors.

I think the attacks about her staffers etc. are only coming secretly from the Trump/R-team or other candidates to smear her, unless proven otherwise.

It could also be some disappointed staff members of her, who quit once because of personal reasons but not because of Klobuchar's behaviour against them and now are out for revenge ...

No they're not. They're clearly coming from people who worked for her, because they're completely obvious and realistic to anyone who's worked in campaigns. And her own statements didn't in any way argue against the allegations.

Besides the reporters do due diligence on stuff like this- and it's been sourced to a handful of people, so it's hardly one ex staffer having a vendetta.

Imagine what her poor staff had to go through to set this up in the snow! She could've done this indoors but the fact she insisted on doing out in the bitter cold & snow makes me think even less of her.

This guy is an obvious troll, and a very bad one at that. But he does have a D-VA avatar, after all...

Yeah, the same old tired line gets boring.

Someone on Amy's staff is going to get their kneecaps broken for this blunder.

She's making some decent points in this speech.

As a Minnesotan, I'm really amused by the reactions to the speech being outdoors. Like... the weather she had isn't all that weird for this time of year.  This isn't disastrous weather; this is just Sunday Grin

Anyway, automatically endorsed for affiliative reasons.

Great speech. I agreed with every word she said. Unless Bennet runs, she's my candidate.

Some pretty shameful commentary in this thread, to be frank. This felt way more real than a lot of the other rollouts we've seen. If having an event in the snow is enough to offend you folks, I'm really not sure how you'll ever be pleased.

I like the green aesthetic on her campaign merchandise. It evokes Jimmy Carter and Paul Wellstone.

I also like her speech. Still supporting her for VP even if she's a d¡ck to staffers
