Why is she still in this race? If she doesn't drop out after Super Tuesday she deserves a binder thrown at her.

She will, as will Warren. Buttigieg and Bloomberg, especially the latter, are question marks.

Buttigieg has already suspended his campaign.

I'm not convinced Bloomberg is done.

Same, also for her.

I suspect one of these two is gonna just be a protest run like Kasich's campaign. If Biden doesn't win Oklahoma, I suspect she will.

She'll probably be what Sanders was in 2016.

I would not be shocked if Bloomberg asks Klobuchar to be his VP candidate as a jolt to his campaign.

After all, eminently hatable scumbags with the charisma of a moldy wheel of cheese gotta stick together.

It would be the Moderate Hero ticket to stop Sanders that so many Dems are clamoring for to save the party from Sanders.  Although I suppose such a move would compel Biden to name Warren as HIS VP.  (And she'd accept; her campaign is dying.)

Republican plutocrats need not apply for the Democratic nomination for...well...anything.  And I don't want Klobuchar's delusional, egomaniacal megalomania anywhere near the White House.  The episode of Veep where Selina shuts off her own mother's life support because she thinks it'll boost her in the polls pretty much sums up my view of Klobuchar.

Does she maybe wait on more week and see if she can win North Dakota?

Is she really thinking of dropping out? That could be interpreted as "you guys are amazing, let's see what happens next" more than "we're done, thanks everyone." The keyword is "we" in "we win big."

Good point. The subtext here is rather contradictory. Most of the text sounds more like a swan song rather than ramping her troops up for the next phase of battle, but you're right that line talks about the present tense rather than the past tense.

Speaking as someone who supported Klobuchar for a hot minute after New Hampshire, it's time for her to bow out and back Biden.

Let her stay in until ST, win Minnesota (and nothing else), and then drop out.

Still a very good possibility for a VP spot.

Footage of Klobuchar's reaction to Mayor Pete dropping out has been leaked:

She may now rest in peace.

Question. Why do people keep saying she should be a VP to somebody?

Why would anyone want to be a VP? What do they do?

At least in the Senate she keeps very busy passing bills. That sounds more interesting than being a VP.

Besides, when does a VP ever get elected President? Unless Biden swings it this time, he's tried to be Pres a couple times before and tanked.

Again, why would anyone as busy and talented as Amy want to be a VP?

People oftentimes forget this. Clinton, after the 2008 primary got the SoS job, not the VP - likely for similar reasons. The VP these days is all about pandering to a specific community/state/ideology, the other cabinet slots are more important.

Throwback to when Howard Dean carried Vermont two weeks after dropping out of the race in 2004 and John Edwards won NC's caucus bigtime over a month after dropping out that year.
