She just told Rachel Maddow that she'll be announcing her decision this Sunday at a rally in Minneapolis on Boom Island, and has plans to visit Iowa this month. So....

Should've kept it under wraps until then, but good for her. I'm split on her.

The biggest threat to Trump most likely. Question is if she can take off.

Shes as close to "generic Democrat" as you can get. That's great in the general but a hindrance in the primary. I'm not sure she can overcome how vanilla she is.

Amy would be a great president. The question is, does she have the charism in here to win people over?

She's literally a liberal Michele Bachmann minus the charisma. I don't get why people think she's such a threat to Trump.

In terms of electability she is the worst. She will lose to Trump by a huge margin because she is unelectable super low energy, is uninspiring & a charisma vacuum. Even Gabbard who is a terrible candidate may be better than her.

If people want a Corporate neoliberal female candidate, they might as well pick Kamala Harris who is way better than Klobuchar.

Care to elaborate or are you just going to leave it at that?

I'll admit I'm a bit surprised. I didn't think she would run.

Still, I have to largely agree with Shadows, although I think she could do better than Warren at least.

Assuming I still live in Minnesota in 2020, this could mean that my vote becomes a lot less useful...unless she drops out before it votes.

Virtually no chance I vote for her, although if nominated I would be accepting of it. Far worse Democrats.

Also I'll see about attending the rally.

Top choice so far.

1) Klobuchar
2) Harris
3) Warren
5) Gillibrand

A liberal Michelle Bachmann with no charisma just won R-trending Minnesota by over 20 points. And while I don't find her that inspiring, shes a perfectly good speaker going by her most recent television appearances.

In my eyes, a competent midwestern career politician with no scandals is the antithesis of Trump. That'll work wonders winning back what was lost in 2016 while holding on to the gains of 2018.

I think she is the biggest threat to Trump should she make it through the primary. She has a proven record of performing well with WWC voters and has a folksy positive image

ie: She has the potential to be Biden without the baggage

Pretty boring and uncharismatic, not really what we need against Trump. Maybe she will wow me during the primary, but I dont have high hopes for her.
